For those just starting NoFap, I wrote this article about the benefits I experienced during the three months I practiced NoFap. I abstained from masturbation and, most importantly, from pornography. Sex was allowed without any issues. I divided the article into the physical and mental benefits for each month. In italics and bold, I left a phrase to summarize that month.

Month 1 (Days 1-30)

Physical Benefits: In the first month, many people report a significant increase in energy. Sleep quality tends to improve, providing deeper and more restorative rest. Additionally, the reduction in fatigue is notable, making them feel less lethargic throughout the day. These initial physical benefits help establish a foundation for more lasting changes in the following months.

Mental Benefits: Mentally, the first month is marked by an improvement in mental clarity and focus, making it easier to accomplish daily tasks. Anxiety and stress may decrease, although some may experience a temporary increase in anxiety at the beginning of the process. Mood also tends to improve, with many people reporting a greater sense of happiness and optimism. This initial period is also crucial for developing greater self-control and improving self-esteem.

In the first month, there is more energy, better sleep, less fatigue, more mental clarity, less anxiety, and better mood.

Month 2 (Days 31-60)

Physical Benefits: During the second month, energy remains high and stable. Additionally, some people notice improvements in their appearance, such as clearer skin and less acne. Moreover, maintaining these high and consistent energy levels contributes to better overall physical performance, making daily activities less tiring and more productive.

Mental Benefits: The second month brings continued improvement in mental clarity and focus, with sharper short-term and long-term memory. The feeling of “brain fog” significantly diminishes, providing a clearer and more efficient mind. Emotionally, resilience increases, allowing better management of stress and daily challenges. Self-confidence continues to grow, strengthening positive self-perception.

In the second month, there is stable energy, clearer skin, better physical performance, mental clarity, improved memory, and increased self-confidence.

Month 3 (Days 61-90)

Physical Benefits: In the third month, energy levels remain elevated and stable, and physical health improvements become more evident. Some people report overall better health, including more robust physical and mental endurance. These accumulated physical benefits over the 90 days contribute to greater well-being and a healthier life.

Mental Benefits: Mentally, clarity and focus continue to be maintained or even further enhanced. Creativity may also increase, allowing a more innovative approach to problems and projects. Memory continues to improve, as do other cognitive skills. Emotionally, there is greater stability, with an improved ability to remain calm in challenging situations. Overall well-being and life satisfaction increase, as does the quality of relationships with oneself and others, promoting greater understanding and empathy.

In the third month, there is elevated energy, better physical health, focus, creativity, memory, emotional stability, and well-being.
